Spent an afternoon walking the main strip in this cute little downtown area, including the docks. At lunchtime, we'd all been jonesing for a lobster roll and this place fit the bill perfectly.
You have two choices when it comes to lobster rolls...warm and cold. We tried both, and the Connecticut version (warm with butter) seemed to be the preferred method of consumption. Although the roll is on the smallish side, there was a fair amount of plump, sweet lobster meat in each sandwich we ordered. Bread was grilled and held up to the liquidy butter on top.
Others may have mentioned it here below, but I've got a PRO TIP for you:
1. Order a cup of lobster bisque
2. Order a kids grilled cheese sandwich
3. Dip said sandwich into bisque ordered in step 1
4. Thank me later
Enjoy!!! -

Fast and efficient, I really like these guys. Their shop is a little on the small side, but it's more cozy than problematic. Parking is and always will be a nightmare here, but that's the nature of historic Annapolis.
Since they took over the ice cream shop I wish they'd revitalize the place a little more. Mason's has a nice old timey feel, but the ice cream shop feels bare and uncared for. -

So disappointed about the Annapolis location being out of Crab so often. While the lobster is delicious, a bit pricey for the dab of lobster applied to the hot dog roll.
My daughter enjoys the lobster bisque with lobster on top.
Within the past year the serving has been very skimpy atop her soup.
Last year, i communicated to the owner about the restaurant being out of crab. He very graciously responded & apologized, saying it was a very busy weekend.
Most recently, 3 of us went specifically to DTA for the Crab roll & the mgr on duty told us they have been out of crab for over a week.
We took our business a few steps across the street to Chic N Ruths for our fix of crab meat.
This crab roll is divine if only... -

I truly enjoyed the lobster roll here. It was the best I've had in Maryland thus far. Service was quick and price is cheaper than other places such as Luke's lobsters where in my opinion the rolls aren't even as good as here. It was seasoned well and the sauce was great. I also ordered the lobster bisque which was alright. I don't think I'd order it again. I felt like it wasn't that flavorful. As I'm writing this I'm heading back into Annapolis for another roll! So good.

My friend and I ordered a Connecticut roll and lobster salad roll, $14 each. The Connecticut was warm, buttered with no mayo, so I was able to taste how fresh the lobster was. My friend really liked the lobster salad roll as well (cold, with mayo). They both had large, plump pieces of lobster meat. The roll itself was buttered and nicely made, although it was on the shorter side. We both agreed that we weren't satisfied and maybe another inch or 2 would've been nice. We didn't have any soups, so next time we're in the area, we'll be back to try them.
